Default Free Hand Panorama and others

Inspired by Bills posting here is another free hand panorama. The gag is, that in reality, the place were I shot it, is the dome of our town hall, which has several colums, which you can't see on the picture. But I didn't held the camera still enough for a 360 shot. You can see two of the colums at the start and the end of the pano. Normally you should see two more between this two.

Greetings, Stefan

Very nice. Those little puffy clouds sure look great in the sky, but make a real mess of trying to keep the exposure looking right.

What software did you use for the stitching? It looks like you used one of the simple stitching programs that pretty much demands that the horizon falls at the middle of the pano. If you are using something that allows off-level shots, you can shoot on days with a featureless sky, point down so little of the sky is in the shot. Panorama Tools is the standard for that, but there are others.

Hi Bill,
I liked the clouds too :-), I normally use Panorama Factory or PhotoVista, which are both very good stitcher.
In this case, the problem was more in the different shot situations, because the picture was taken from three shooting points, one to the north, one to the east and one to the south, each nearly 5 m to go for.
So stitching was difficult.....
