Panorama Tools works on the Mac as well as on a PC. However, it is very difficult to use. A GUI front end helps a lot. One for the Mac can be found at http://www.kekus.com/ptmac/. Panorama Tools is the best stitching program, but it is also the most difficult to learn and to use - well worth the effort.

A decent basic one is Photoshop Elements 2. The hybrid CD works on Panther. I generally stitch 3-4 photos and this suits me well. Not bad for about $60 at WalMart

I've been using that one as well for smaller stitch jobs and it works pretty well. Be careful with the versions though, I saw thatPhotoshopElements would work on OSX and before I picked up the box I saw another package that had Photoshop Elements plus Album as a freebie. I took that one home to find the package was only for PC.

I'm using Canon PhotoStitch in OS X. It ships with Canon cameras, I don't know of a way to buy it retail. For me it works a little better than PhotoMerge, which is part of Photoshop Elements 2 or Photoshop CS.

Hi,

I think the best implementation on Mac OS X is Realviz Stitcher. Quite expensive compared to Panotools or some PC software.
