Default Tiling software?

I was wondering if anyone can recommend software that would allow an image to be broken to parts and each part printed on an 8.5 by 11 sheet, then these be put together to form a very much larger image for displaying an a wall sort of like a mural. We wanted to do this for shots of a bike race. This would be displayed on a large wall at a bicycle shop where the racers congregate. I read of such a program somewhere but can't recall where or when. Any help would be appreciated

Take a look at QImage (http://www.ddisoftware.com/qimage/ - shareware). I've not used it for that, but I'm pretty sure it can do what you want.

Default Let your printer do it?

Check out your printer-- it may be that you already have this option! My Epson C80 has a setting for making posters. I printed out a 4 tile poster last week for my son's school project, and I remember seeing a setting for 9 tiles as well.

You can check this program out:

http://www.arcsoft.com/products/soft...ntage2000.html

... Each micro-image can then be scaled to an 8x10 for the final mural!
