Big time photo newbie here. I wanted to set up a wall in my office similar to the commercials . The woman in the latest is walking around the eiffel tower snapping photos and then connects them in a tile on her wall.
What is this called? Can someone give a link for a tutorial? Has anyone done this was success yet? Can I seal the photos once on the wall? Thanks |

The best way to do this is take out ur digicam...put it on the highest res and take a panaromic photo of your area. Then go to a professional printer and tell them to print out the pic so it covers ur whole wall. Dont go for the small printouts like in the commercial. Your money will be wasted on the cartridges and it wont look as good as the profesional stuff.

I figured out how you might make your wall size pano like the tv commercial. There is a program called Genuine Fractals, it comes free with most Nikon Digitals. They used this program to make a 90 foot pano in Time Square about 4 years ago. The pano was shot with a Nikon 950. The program will let you make a picture as big as you want with out making it look all pixalated. So first make your high res pano with your camera. Make the picture as big as your wall with Genuine Fractals. Load the big pano back into Photoshop and cut the pano up into all the little squares. Then print out all the little squares with your printer and tack them to your wall. Let me know if it works.
