Default Manual Stitching in Photoshop

Does anyone know of a tutorial on the web about how to manually stitch together photos in Photoshop?

I've seen a few of those, and a Google search should bring up a lot of info.

Keep in mind that stitching with PhotoShop is used more for increasing resolution than to make panoramas. If you use a wide angle lens and stitch images, you will have to deal with many more projection/distortion issues. Those can be dealt with in PhotoShop, but not easily.

If you stitch images taken with a long lens, you could have taken the shot with a wide angle and cropped it to a panorama - albeit a low resolution pano.

So the short answer is that some folks do stitch with PhotoShop, but that is harder and more limiting than even the simpler stitching programs.

Try getting some of the free stichingprogram on the net. Much easier.
