I simply want to put 3-4 different photos together - taken 3 consecutive years - 1st birthday, 2nd birthday etc... No merging required. I Do not have Photoshop.

Is there any s/w ( or freeware ) which can do this ?

Paint Shop Pro has a nice feature called 'print multiple images', within which you drag & drop thumbnails of images on to virtual paper, resize & rearrange, and then print the whole sheet.

I'm on PSP v7.04, and the current versions are 8 & 9. There are probably budget versions around.

Good luck!

Look for programs that use layers. You can do what you want without that, but it will be much easier using layers and you will find layers to be useful in many other ways. That is likely to be any of the photo editors with a full retail price of about $100 - they are often on sale for half that.

I've not used it, but GIMP is a freeware program with a good reputation. Not the easiest to use, but no powerfull photo editor is easy.

Maybe you're better off telling us what program(s) you do have at your disposal. I know you don't have photoshop, but something like enlarging the canvas size and pasting the other photos followed by cropping is what I would do.
