Ok - this is from my last vacation - taken from the Castle Maus that sits on the right side of the river.

Yes - we had mixed weather that day, you can clearly see the waves of rain-clouds approaching us from the other side of the river.

Images lost a bit on sharpness due to heavy JPEG compression - originals are like 8000x3000 pixel and pin-sharp. Taken with my old (t)rusty Oly C770 handheld.

Enjoy!

I adjusted shadows and highlights a bit and used a USM for contrast, everything else is almost as it came from the camera.

I really like the 1rst one but I don't know why...Maybe the super wide view and the distortion make it interesting too:-)

Yep - the 1st one is my favourite too. The blue cast in the far distance makes it very realistic - you can instantly guess, that this is a huge area covered by the panorama.

I am really planning on printing that with 1,50m wide or more. There are a lot of nice details which keep you busy for some minutes watching: the houses, the railway at the other side of the river, the ships, the mountain area and ofc the clouds.

It's not that wide by the way - comes close to 180°, maybe its 170° or so...
