I posted 2 pict earlier. Now that I have some time to reorganize the album. This was actually a series of shots and I will not be able to replicate it . It was just plain luck looking back the exif of it happening all within 5 seconds. I know now that downy woodpecker is actually a very jittery bird hardly ever been shot at such close distance . It was done with Zenitar manual 16mm lens
He is pondering what to pick : ![]() Jumped one step and focus whathe wanted. But why did he jump one step? God knows ![]() Still pondering Got it ![]() Ready to take off now. All within 5 second according to exif ![]() Daniel . Toronto |

Daniel,
What great shots. Not only that you could get the bird to be that well trained, but also to get such great pictures. Great stuff! Glenn |

I guess Roy has the problemlike what I had. You click on send . Don't move. You click 'send' a couple of more times. All of a sudden you find that you have sent the same msg several time resulting in multiplemsg of the sameposts. Rudy, I don't think I will be able to do it again. It was just luck. Not feat that you can replicate (as I said) Daniel |

Hi Daniel,
Okay -- now you're just rubbing it in . . . :-) just kidding of course -- Great series . . . but would have been priceless if you had gotten a good shot of the little guy taking off -- a Downy WP BIF with a 16mm lens! (probably would have gotten you into the photog's version of Ripley's BION) Scott |
