Lens rebate list

Hi all, anyone have any insite into why the DA*16-50 is missing from the rebate list, not selling any more, too popular to discount, too many warranty returns ????

I don't think there's necessarily any reason. Lenses come and go on the rebate deals. The DA*16-50 was on the original K-7 rebate offer. My guess is that there are other lenses that have a higher stock level than the DA*16-50 - i.e., the production cycle has the DA*16-50 not in production at the moment or something like that. It's still being sold.

when we are so far away from the action down here, it's hard to know whats going on with Pentax over there. I thought it was interesting that it seemes as if every other currently available lens is on the list except that lens.
