I'm still exploring this lens. Like the build of the Super taks. Now have the 135mm, 200mm and this 50mm.

Wow !, DOF is very thin wide open( perhaps more than you'd expect), you can see the difference in focus between the eyes in both shots, but the first one shows it better since the youngster is more square to the camera. I like the bokeh it produces.
I don't have a supertak 50mm, but do have the SMC-M 50/1.4, I expect that would produce similar results. Portraiture isn't something I do much of though. ... Interesting shots BB. ... Jack |

Not bad at all. Should be quite sharp at a step or two up. Mine is anyway. Very sharp by f/4.
