Default Used Sears lenses for Pentax k-x

I'm thinking about buying a couple of used prime lenses, but I'm looking for advice on how they will work with my Pentax k-x. There are pictures attached. Would this be a good buy? I haven't made an offer with the seller yet. They are Sears brand:
Sears 28mm 1:2.8 052
Sears 50mm 1:2.0 520

Anybody know anything about these? The seller knows nothing about his camera or lenses. They were given to him by his grandfather.

They will be serviceable lenses and sometimes they will be very good. Keep the buying price in the 20-40 dollar range or lower for each one. In fact the 50mm should go for 15-25 dollars. If they are made by Kiron or Komine or some of the other good lens makers of the time they may be very good. Hard to know who made them but I'm guessing Cosina. If that is so they are middle of the road lens but will give decent service.

The 28mm one is a useful range for the Kx, I would think it will be better than the 50 f2. Unless the 50 is really cheap I'd probably not bother - I suspect that it wouldn't be as good as a Pentax SMC M 50 f1.7, which is a very nice lens. They are manual lenses, so you won't have auto exposure or auto focus. As long as you know that, they look like they are in good condition, as much as you can tell from these poor pictures, and as big dawg says, they should be serviceable.
