Default K5 and Tokina AT 840

This is my lens for when I need a smaller telephoto lens for travel or one easy to handle hand held. It is rated as 80-400mm F4.5-5.6 and is physically smaller (not lighter) then my DA* 50-135mm f2.8. It is no longer made in Pentax mount, I think that is a shame. I bought mine four to five years ago, on line, as new old stock from a photo shop in Ohio. It is not the most sharp lens in the world but I find it works great for the smallest 400mm zoom available. Works well with my Kenko 1.5X TC (600mm) with focus speed still being very good. It is all metal and solidly built, if you have a chance to buy one used, in good shape, go for it. The photos attached are from last Friday, the first time I have tried the lens on my K5.
