Cameta Auctions sells two different ring lights, a Tiffen and a Cobra, that they advertise to work with the Pentax K100d, *st DL, etc. Has anyone tried one of these? I question if they actually are P-TTL flashes and, if they are not, how do they work with the more recent Pentax cameras? Does anyone have any experience with these products?

Tiffen wording is suspicous. "Will MOUNT to any ect..."

Also the specs:

Exposure Modes:[/align]

Manual Full Power/ Manual (1/3 Power)/ Auto Sensor (NOTE: AUTO-SENSOR
not TTL ect)
No mention of TTL or P-TTL......

Cobra say nothing.....
Besides a Promaster ringflash (MAYBE p-TTL) I don't think that presently there are ANY p-ttl ringflashes (with the exception of Promaster, see below). But I'm not 100% on this..DL and k-100d cameras are out of luck.

PRO Master module for the DL ect..

Flash to go with it:

you might want to think about regulas hot shoe flash off the camera. i think it gives better results as it adds some shadow detail. some ring flashs tho are able to turn off one side to do this.
