I found out about this on Dpreview and thought I'd pass it along. It is good until the 13th at Buy.com. You can get a 2 gb Kingston standard SD card for free. Here's the deal at buy.com. Normal price is $44.95 with a $35.00 rebate through tomorrow (13th). If you have not paid by Google Checkout before, you get $10.00 off for signing up and checking out that way, instead of the normal buy.com checkout.

Anyway, I know these are not the fastest card in the world, but I take wildflower shots in raw and need storage space, not speed. I have two Kingston 512 mb cards now and they have worked without any trouble for a year, so this was an easy decision for me. In fact they pay you $.05 to buy one of these this way, so what the heck, I can always use 2 more GB's for free- Bruce

Update - Forgot to mention, it's also free shipping.

Thanks for sharing this. I needed a backup card, and this will work just fine for me.

there's also weekly specials at ncix.com it's a computer store based in canada with a very good online shop. they have 2gb sd cards for $19.99CAD currently, a boon for us in canada since we dont have to pay cross border duty.

their shipping rates are very reasonable and they offer many shipping options. i have ordered several hard drives and other component from them in the past and am very satisfied with their transactions.

check out their site for deals.

ps. if i have violated any of the forum or website rules, i apologize. I am not trying to further my interest in the company but simply pass on a good deal to fellow photographers.
