Hey all, thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I think, though, that I like the original of the kid in the fountain because it was a play ground and the other kids in the background add to the overall feel. But then again it would have been better to adjust the aperture and blur the background just a bit. As for the picture of therock and barn, I can tell a difference and it works well. It also points out that we often get a bit heavy handed in our PP because we want to be able to see a pronounced difference in the photos when all that is needed is a slight correction. But ultimately its all in the eyes of the creator and what he or she is looking for and what they like!
