In the course of researching some equpment preview articles I have sourced pictures of camera from the manufacturer's press outlets.

Having a look at the file data revealed some intersting things.

The new top of the range Nikon D3 press shots were not taken with a Nikon, but with a medium format camera with a Phase one P45 digital back.

As Pentax user my joy was short lived, when I checked shots of the K10 from Pentax publicity outlet I got a shock.

They were taken with a DSLR, but a CANON !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had some fun looking at the exif for some of my favorite car pictures.

Most GM cars are shot with a Canon. The impressive thing about this is that whe3n looking at the untouched 3000x2000 pic, especially for the car in motion shots.... camera shake galore, that does not appear when resizing!

P45 is used to take pics of small objects, like the fancy new key fobs and such.

Pentax shot with Canon? For shame. I guess it means they farm the work out to random people instead of using one of their own 'camera nerds' (in reference to a Pentax ad I saw) !
