Interesting question - I'm not sure anyone here has the new Tamron lens. It sounds more interesting than any of the previous superzoon lenses.

I have the DA 50-200 whichI liked at first. My particular one developed a weird problem, which is unusual as the lens has a good reputation for being problem-free. Since it was no longer under warranty, I replaced it with a DA*50-135, which I really love but it's also far more expensive. I'm hoping to test the weather sealing of the K10 with the weather sealed DA*50-135 Friday or Saturday - believe it or not, the weather forecasters are saying that the snow levels are going to be around 6,000 feet. Yipppeeee - September snow in SoCal! Unheard of, but not unwelcome - keep your fingers crossed.
