Had to go up through the Ouachita National Forest this morning on the way to a tennis tournament and caught this vista as we began to descend from the Ouachita (in western Arkansas) down into the Arkansas River Valley. In the distance can be seen the beginnings of the Ozarks.

Unfortunately, the leaves are late in turning this fall, with just a few hints of color to be seen.

Cool shot... I really like how everyone elses twisting road shots come out. Mine never seem to look this good. Keep it up!
