To be at the right place at the right time .... with your camera ....and get a nice clear shot - Wow! These are amazing. I never knew they ate frogs.

Walter,...ditto what everyone else has said. What timing! I also didn't know that ducks eat meat. On a little note, this series reminds me of the cartoon with the heron eating the frog & the frog is trying to choke the heron & the caption reads "Never give up without a fight!"

Wow, the other day when I took the Eagle shots on the ice, one of the mature Eagles took a swipe at a Mallard that was swimming in open water but the duck got away.

I guess this is the reverse, where the duck is eating the frog, although I did not know ducks ate frogs, especially ones that large.

not near as good but along the same line. it took him a good 10 minutes before he actually swallowed it.
