While the Tulip Festival at the local botanical garden is still a couple of weeks away, the earliest varieties have begun to bloom. I got out for an hour or so this morning.

Shot taken with the DA*50-135 @ f2.8. This one was taken with Tamron 70-300 f4-5.6 Di LD Macro @ f5.6.

Also in bloom were the hyacinths

All over the weeping cherry tree blossoms were little visitors like this guy
