Hi All

I have been looking at getting a set of flash leads to take my flash off camera for some time now.

I have played with a manual synch lead and set the flash up manually with no problem, but it can need a little trial and error (2-3 shots) before I get it right. For macro shots that can be a no-no.

However, over in the UK, getting the Pentax short lead and the 2 hotshoes is around £85 - if you can fin them in stock.

The other day, I came across this on eBay

emailed the seller asking if it was the correct lead - no response. So I checked the feedback and emailed a satified customer with a K10D. He confirmed the lead worked.

So finally I bought one - £23 including shipping from Poland.

It arrived today and works perfectly.

The only 2 limitiations are the length of the lead cannot be extended, and you cannot use the built in flash. Other than that, everything works for 1/4 of the cost - the hotshoe even says Dedicated Flash Cord for Pentax on it.

Well happy
