I am thinking of upgrading from my FA 35mm F2 to the new DA 35mm F2.8 Macro Ltd but while I have seen that it can produce good images I was wondering if anyone who actually has it can answer any of these questions:

1. How is PF (purple fringing) or lateral chromatic aberration (red, green)?
The FA has some lateral CA that I can see quite often in my images.

2. Distorsions: not a big deal but FA has some.

3. Bokeh: how smooth?

4. AF speed: being a Macro lens I expect to be slower than a regular one. The question I have is how bad?

My plan is to finally have a "normal" go-about prime that has macro. I have the D-FA 50mm F2.8 Macro for real 1:1 macro (up to F32) which I plan to keep. The need for the new one became apparent while vacationing in Florida at the beach where I had to go back and forth from FA 35mm to D-FA 50mm Macro (not fun changing lenses with sunscreen and sand all over). I see the new lens good for maybe 1:2 macro since it is limited to F22.
