Thanks all for the kind comments!

Dave: The exposure timings were 1/3 sec, 1 sec and 1.3 sec respectively. As for the tripod head, I use a Manfrotto 488 Midi Ball Head (rated for 17.6 lbs which is plenty sturdy to handle the K20D, Grip and the DA*lenses).

Glenn: Love your image of the falls too. Honestly, I cannot tell which sections of the falls has been cloned--you did an excellent job. Perhaps you should enter it in this month's challenge on "illusions"!!

I'm planning to return to WV in the Spring for more photo trekking. I was told that the Rhododendrum blooms make quite a nice frame for the vistas of the gorge.

Beautiful, Jay. I think I like the second one best. Took my breath away. But, they are all nice.
