Thanks ya'll. I did offer to move my wife up to a K20d for Christmas but she says she is happy with the k100d. For now I will content myself with the fact she is afraid of insects and macro photography remains strictly my own domain.

Again, good stuff.

That cemetary is very nice and has a huge variety of appeal. The plant life is so varied that the Landscape Architect (sp?)program at UK uses if for field trips.

I seem to have trouble finding the right shots out there. You have done better than my attempts.

Old cemetaries are steeped in history. My wife and I have explored a number of them in search of her family history, and there is both joy and sorrow to be found - joy in discovery and sorrow in seeing the short lives and many small children who did not survive to adulthood. Most of my pictures were restricted to recording information on the headstones that were still legible, but yours are of a different sort, very nice. The colors of the fall foliage add to the appeal.
