You've got all the reason to be proud of your daughter. Maybe you should allow yourself to be proud of the guidance in life she has recieved from her parents?

Best wishes and hearty greetings to Madelyn, and her rightfully proud mother as well.

What a beautiful gesture! And, even more so coming from such a young person. You must be doing something right as a parent to have such a wise daughter.

By the way, tell her she is very beautiful and will still be as beautiful with shorter hair. Like someone else said, inside and out.

I love to hear the good stories. You should be very proud. In today's world we just don't hear enough about the good things our young people do. Your daughter is sure starting life on the right track.

Thank you for sharing the story and Photos. Just fantastic.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

I'm going to print these out and read them to Madelyn while she is getting her hair cut.

If she suddenly feels bad about losing the hair, I'm sure these comments will cheer her up.

Take care, yours truly,

I live not to far from where you send your hair for children with cancer, I did mine last year anonymously. So I hope they got to use it. Tell her it grows back fast and she will remember this forever.

It does feel good to do that for someone you will never know.
