All I've been doing is take photos of landscape. For my class I need to do a silhouette picture. So I went to Mt. Diablo yesterday with my friend and took some shot. I asked him to bring along is Samurai sword and this is what we did. We got some strange looks when he pulled out the sword.

Hi superakuma,

Very nice!! The silhouettes are so crisp, and the colors are great.

I'm kinda stuck on looking at lower perspective shots lately, so I would have tried a shot looking upward from ground level with the full length of the subject silhouetted -- with the raised sword, it would have been imposing.

very effective, allthough i cant help thinking some kind of samurai head dress would have just finished the look

Seriously nice colors on those shots. I like the last the best, I think.

Really like the first two shots - VERY well done. Third shot just looks like an akward pose to me though. Very creative idea.
