Storm Hard Case

The case was great! I was able to fit two bodies, two underwater cameras, all of my chargers, five lenses, filters, etc. in the case. This allowed me to use my Slingshot 200 AW as my personal carry-on bag. In the Slingshot, I crammed a change of cloths, my Wolverine back-up device, an Olympus Stylus 400 point and shoot, headphones, etc. I was never questioned as to the size of the case as far as carry-on limits.

Weather Sealing

The K10 performed great and I was appreciative of the weather sealing while taking pictures of my daughters para-sailing—I was splashed pretty good two or three times and had no problem at all. I also used it on the beach quite a bit, and never had a problem with sand. The Slingshot 200 AW was great to have on the boat, too—the weather/rain cover kept everything nice and dry.

I boarded the plane for the trip home in pouring down rain in St Thomas. There isn't a "tube" to the plane there—you board right on the tarmac. The Storm Hard case and the Slingshot 200 AW with its rain cover really kept me at-ease as I stood on the tarmac in the rain waiting to board the plane.

Glad it all worked out for you.

The storm cases do seem be the best thing for weather proofing
