more photos of DC
it must be the place to go lol
i wouldnt mind going back, there was a lot i missed when i went
the monument photo is terrific, a great time of day to be there

the waterfall filter you asked about is a neutral density filter (ND) it should be easy enough to find on the net, the +number indicates how many extra stops it adds

aquarium shots are hard usually they are dark and with moving fish so you need a reasonable shutter speed, which means a high ISO or wide open aperture
I recently (is April recent?) went to Baltimore Aquarium (again ) and took heaps of pictures, from which i salvaged a few lol
if you want to have a look they are here, the exif data should still be in the pics
first time http://www.johndolphin.net/photos/ca....php?cat_id=72
second time http://www.johndolphin.net/photos/ca....php?cat_id=81
if there is no f stop indicated i would of used my old 50mm f1.7 at f1.7
hope it helps
