Nice shot Bigdawg! Fine detail and nice eye catch light.

I am one who feeds the birds year round. I only put out suet in the fall and winter.

This year I have had a strange thing happen, I have no birds feeding on seed since mid September. The only activity has been at my suet feeder that is active with Downy woodpeckers.

I hope this is not a harbinger of bad things, and that it is only a lull as the birds here migrate south and the birds from the north come south to winter in New England.

Usually at this time of year we have massive Starling migration going through but none yet this fall that I have seen.
