Terrific shots, Ed. Several of these hawks winter at a wildlife refuge along the Arkansas River, the only place I've ever seen them. I've never tried using multi-point focus for BIF. I always use center focus AF with the Bigma. I'm going to give your method a try.

As always Ed, these are amazing shots. You have a real gift for capturing images of all sorts of birds. I've been to the Merritt Island NWR, Jonathan Dickinson State Park, and few other wild areas in Florida, and I was astounded at the wildlife that was all over. I definitely want to get down to Florida again. Thank you very much for posting these!
