Default Some Flight Shots

I was out yesterday afternoon trying to get a few shots to choose from for the challenge; I didn't really get what I was wanting, showing motion with panning....but I did get some pretty decent stop action on flight shots. Unfortunately, most of them are Canada geese, rather than a more interesting bird, still I was pleased with the levels of focus. (K-7 and Bigma, handheld)

This great blue heron was taken at a much greater distance and involved a fair amount of cropping.

The final shot is a fairly heavy crop, so it does include some noise, but it was one of those I was just glad to get since I'd never caught a blue winged teal in flight before.

I'm a sucker for Canadas. Those shots are second to none, Paul. Nice shootin'!

Paul, Getting a good shot of the teals is a job in itself, let alone in flight!
Nice going.

Must agree with GW about the teal! And really fine composition on #1. All are excellent.
