Dustin - Thanks for the (as always) helpful and specific comments. Your favorite from the falls photos is actually a composite of two shots, stitched together with Photosphere. I can never decide on the best angle for amphibian shots - glad you liked the head shot. And the lady slipper you liked was also my favorite. Thanks again!

GW - Thanks for the helpful input. Better not try to eat those lady's slippers - they're not too digestible!

Harriet - Sorry to hear of the road problems. We have a lot of forest service roads here that are only open to vehicles at certain seasons, but open to foot travel year-round. Perhaps you could walk the falls road?

i agree on the waterfall photos, the side view gives a better insight into the surroundings
maybe the in the top view another step to the right would be better? lol
the yellow flower is very exotic looking, very orchidish
i like the lighting on the last one
