Hi Ronny,

Great series of some very unusual looking guys. #s 1 & 4 are the obvious best views. It's tough when you've got to capture both ends of the critter to capture the most distinctive features -- great job. These guys' tails look like they've been grafted on from other species. I guess I'll never understand how creatures have evolved the way they have -- but it sure adds to the fun of macro photography.

Thanks for sharing the shots of this very unusual looking pair.

If complaining helps open up the photo ops, I'll take a shortcut and just tell Lady Luck that my complaint list can be found in the indexes of the Audobon's Field Guides to North American Birds and Insects. . . that should keep me busy. . .

The lighting on the female (!&2) could be improved, but that on the males (3-5) is perfect - the three angles are well chosen to illustrate the anatomy. #4 is a classic shot - you couldn't have done better. Well done!
