Default What's your Shutter Count ?

What's your current Shutter Count and your annual figure ? Just interested to see how we use our cameras (I expect Mole's to be horrendously high)

Since the figure is stored in every shot you take you can use this to check (upload your most recent shot and Voila ! out comes the figure).

I've had my K7 since January 2010 and my count is 15,314.

When I got my first camera in early 08 until April 2010 I averaged 2500 images per month. the last few month have been practically nothing.
perhaps when the weather cools down I'll feel like getting out more.

212 - This is after Pentax replaced the entire "innards" (main circuit board, and sensor) of my K20 about a week ago. I was getting an extreme amount of noise when I was bracketing on the underexposed frames, and as time went on it was creeping into the regular images. I have about 5000 on the shutter ( I think)...

My DL is at 27112. Not all that much compared to some, but that is still a lot of pictures! Imagine the cost of shooting that much film!?

Haven't a clue. It has rolled over at least 3 times since I owned it, and I don't know how many Harriet had on it first (yes I got it from her).

I learned this on this forum a while ago. There is a free program called PhotoMe (http://www.photome.de/) that will show you the shutter count, among other things, on your camera.

Mine is showing 9820 for my K20 on 8/22, the last photo I took. I can't look up my K100 right now. Will check it later. The K20 was purchased in Dec 2008, my Christmas present! But, I haven't used it a lot since April 29 of this year. So, it should be much higher. Although, like bock1965 said, not that I've had that many keepers.

I just told my husband tonight I'm determined to go out and shoot something this weekend. Hoping we get the chance.
