Beautiful pictures Harriet. #2 is my favorite -- it has an otherworldly quality that appeals to me very much.

I like them all, Harriet. But, #2 brings back memories of 50 years ago when I was a child and going to the beach just a couple miles from our home. I haven't seen it since... now I'm feeling all melancholy.

I didn't mean to bring on melancholy with that picture - it was more an experiment with slow shutter speeds (the first two were). They were both multi-second exposures, I was trying to smooth out the surf. It was another fun exercise, to see the results at different speeds and what it did. It's one thing to know in principle that slow shutter speeds smooth out moving water, it's another thing to see it in action.

Great shots, especially the first one and the people pictures.

I am already at work by the time the sun rises here now. Well at least it is still rising for a few more weeks.

Like Lou and Kevin, your #1 photo is my favorite. It really has a relaxing mood to it.
