Sorry for being absent, first I was on a lil' vacation and now for some unknown reason real life is killing me .

Anyway - it's 27th already and only a few days left, so if you want to take part or change your entry in this challenge - hurry up!

There are some really nice entries here, but I'll hold my tongue and wait for the voting .

Kind regards,

Well I've been looking out for 'Sets' all month - it's been driving me crazy

So from my 'collection' I've gone with this set of children's Stick Candy in the form of creatures from the Chinese Zodiac - taken in the night market in the water-town of Zhu Jia Jiao, about a 45 minute drive from downtown Shanghai. I was showing my father, who was visiting, around some of the sights, sounds and smells of the places of interest.

This was taken last Saturday at the "Head Of The Charles" races in Cambridge and Boston. The head Of The Charles Regattais a Boston tradition and is also the largest two day rowing event in the world. It is a two day event with over 8,500 rowers.

The first race was held back in 1965 as a "head of the river race", following the tradition of races held in England. "Head races" are a class of regattas that are usually three miles long. The boats race against each other and the time clock.

The picture was taken from the Harvard Bridge, with the Tokina 80-400. The only way to isolate three boats was with a long zoom and cropping to bring them in closer.

Greetings to all from bb2

Not for voting on, as too late, thanks

Good morning,
challenge time is over, so please start voting for your favourite image now!

I am a bit late with that announcement, I know , but maybe this is just what beachboy2 needs - so if you all agree here, we'll include his/her submission for this challenge. Different timezones shouldn't be a reason to rule someone out of that challenge - also daylight saving started this weekend so there is some confusion about the correct time anyway, right?

(To avoid confusion and misunderstanding - I am in no way related to beachboy2 and I don't give him/her the preference. As I started the challenge I kinda feel responsible to answer pboerger's question, though. So please if YOU feel the entry was not allowed, state your opinion clearly.

If there are objections because of the submission time, your entry will be excluded. If that's the case - no hard feelings, ok?)

I'm in a hurry and will browse through the entire collection this evening - so no vote from me now.

Kind regards,
