Thanks again for a very interesting/challenging challenge! It took a lot of us out of our "comfort zone," which perhaps is one of the goals of this challenge.
But there are too many great and creative entries! My vote goes to Vole's face in the fire.

My goodness, this is a creative group. I was between tundraguy's sparks and abielack's pan light trails. I vote for abieleck because I keep coming back to it, wondering how the hell did he do that.

very hard to vote this time, many different ideas, and mine stood between tundraguy and mtngal (mtngal: you picture is very moody and nice! )..... but in the end I choose tundraguy for his sparks, they are excellent! love it!!

Yes, I agree - this challenge was more challenging than others to me

My vote goes to daz' image of the ferry leaving the docs. It reminds me of some Star Trek warp speed animation and shows some impressive light trails.

Wow, is it December already!?
Well, I thought I had already posted my entry a couple weeks ago and just realized I hadn't.
Just as well though, I just wasn't able to get anything worthy of this challenge, way too many really good shots this round! I guess I'll go ahead and post it so you all can have a good laugh, it was the best I could come up with this month. I had some really good ones from last year though...

It was a partly cloudy night and the moon was looking pretty interesting so, I tried zooming in...

...then I tried zooming out. It just wasn't going to work like I wanted it to.

So, I just took a natural shot of it. I thought it turned out OK.

So, Now I got to vote... I really like so many of them equally... Well, I can only vote once (that just isn't fair) so, I'm going to vote for Harriet's pier shot. That's on I'd hang on my wall.

Life's a breeze on a Goldwing...

I really struggeld to choose between Mole's star trails wihic I know is a technically challenging shot and Nhmom's Christmas zoom which captures the holiday season in such a creative manner. I am a sucker for the season and vote for NHMom's christmas zoom! Mole deserves an award for technical mastery!

Really tough month - Voting in this challenge was a challenge in itself! So many and imaginative images to choose among. I had at least a 5-way tie, kept changing my mind, and decided the only way to break it is to select one of those in which the trails are made by the moving subjects rather than the moving camera or lens, so I went with Tundraguy, who also is the only one of the 5 who who I think hasn't yet "won" a challenge and had to face the challenge of creating the next challenge. Creating that image was a spark-ling idea.

GW, your first one looks like a comet going by Earth - it works better than you think!
