The fun only comes when you settle into the new house. Packing up and moving itself is a bit of a pain. I can relate to your feeling as I have done it myself more than a few times.

LOL! I love the second picture and can sure relate to the first one. The only thing is that when we helped my Mom move from a big condo into a small apartment, we found boxes in the garage that had been moved from a bigger house 15 years before, and were filled with things that had belonged to my grandfather and moved down to that house probably 20 years before that! They had never been unpacked. So good luck with you getting settled into your new "digs".

Wow, good luck with the unpacking and settling in. I also know how much work it is.

You have my sympathy, Vole!
Early in my adult life I lived in 8 different states in a 5 year period and that didn't count how many times I moved in the same state.
And no, I wasn't a fugitive.

Life's a breeze on a Goldwing...

Having moved a few times in my life, I don't envy you. Although, a new house is always fun. Trying to figure out where things should go. Plus, the good feeling once everything is put away and it is a home and not just a house.
