They are at that awkward stage - they can't lift weights to build muscle, so this is the next best thing! You are doing a good job of documenting the early days in the life of the birds in this wetland. Thanks for all your posts.

Nice shots Ed, I am going to be interested in the progress as I did see some GBH nesting and mating while in Florida but had to go north and will miss the rest
