Default Osprey Fishing Lessons Needed?

One photo I have never caught is an Osprey diving and coming up with a fish. I thought I was going to end that drought last Friday when an Osprey started a dive, in my view, in Wakodahatchee Wetlands. The Osprey came up with Talons empty. The bird was a little too far to get great photos which eases the down feeling a little. Attached is what I did catch of the dive.

He came up empty but you still got some good shots.

Hi Ed,

I have a mental list of shots I want to capture, and scenarios worked out how I might get them. Looks like you were pretty well prepared for this, so maybe next time, the Osprey will do a better job. My "holy grail" for bird fishing shots would be a Kingfisher. They're so odd looking when they dive, but they are really quick!

I'm sure that you'll get this -- you've been logging some incredible shots so far this season, so I think you're on a roll. . .

These are really great and dramatic captures - will look forward to your "talons full" shots!

I love the first shot, but all are very good. Not the easiest subject.
