Uhoh, aquarium shots are always very difficult

I tried with small DOF a couple of times and found it almost impossible to get decent images. The thick glass is good for a lot of optical irritations. I was more successful with a shorter lens and wider DOF.

Can't wait to see the K-r in action when I get my next chance to visit an aquarium like this!

Nice images, colors look good on my monitor and they show the special feeling you get near those huge tanks. Thanks for sharing.

Nice shots mtngal. I wish I had a prime for my outiing, but with the great high ISO of the Kx the Tamron 18-250 did well with some noise reduction.

Is that what you were using? The tamron did very well indeed (would expect the Kx to be brilliant)!
