Frogfishes posterization gets my vote with mtgal's twice watercolor a close second. It looks so much like the pointalists of the impressionist period. The posterization is such a nice feature. I have used it before and kick myself for not remembering to try it.

This was one of the most difficult monthly challenges to select a top choice because there was such a remarkable variety of images to choose from. After much hemming and hawing, going back and forth, changing my mind and changing it back, I cast my vote for pboerger's daisies.

For once I guess I'll go first. I actually like all of them, there's a lot of creativity and individuality in them all.

I really love Patty's lighthouse and through most of the month that was my first choice. Then Lyrics51 posted that lovely black and white taken with the DL and I knew I was going to have trouble making up my mind. But the picture that has stuck with me the most for some reason is Paul's zoo shot, the in-camera filter really compliments the image for some reason, and I'm not usually a fan for such extreme type of processing. So my vote goes to Paul (Trojansoc).

I like a lot of them, but I really like Frogfish's wedding shot.

Frogfishe's posterization is really nice, but I favor pboerger's Shasta Daisies, which shows how far one can go with filters. Excellent job.

Some really amazing results from some very talented "filter-ers!" Hard to choose, but will vote for Patty's Lighthouse - great use of the selective color to increase emphasis in an already fine photo...

I'm like Harriet; I like just about all the images this month. I keep coming back to the simplicity and clean lines of Patty's lighthouse, but I also really liked pboerger's daisies. My vote for Patty's shot.

Well, I had been all set to vote for pboeger's watercolor when I saw it, and now see he changed it. I really prefered the first shot better and wish I'd noticed earlier to comment.

So, now my vote is going to Harriet's watercolor. I just really like the effects of that filter. And, she did a good job of tweaking it. Although, everyone's photos are amazing. It was hard to choose.

So, Harriet it is for me.

For me Photography is all about producing pleasing images. With that in mind I looked for an image I would hang in my home or could see hanging in someones home. Frogfish's and Patty's shots fit that criteria for me and I like the composition of both. My favorite is Patty's
