I don't know if I am eligible to vote as I had no entry, but if so, my vote goes to Patty. I have been to Nubble Light and photographed it but this rendition knocked my socks off. Nice work!!!!

I think all of the shots were very creative and used the filters to their best advantages for the given photos that were manipulated.

Well I'm going to call it now to give the winner a little time to start the November Challenge (maybe today as it's still early on a Sunday over there) ? I can't imagine any one possibly over-hauling her in the few hours remaining if they hadn't already done so in the past few days !

So firstly thank you very much for all the interest in this challenge, for the excellent entries and the debate/advice in the other thread Harriet started. You all came up with some lovely and very original work and maybe we'll all use the in-camera filters a little more in the future to create some alternative photographs.

In conclusion our congratulations should go to this month's winner, Patty, for her striking selective colour shot of the lighthouse - I loved it ! However I was also pleased that numerous other shots also got votes just to show the varied appeal and creativity of the posted shots by others.

Over to you Patty !

Wow! I heard from Lou that I had won. I certainly never expected it with my simple image. So many others were much more creative than mine.

Well, thank you all. This was certainly a fun challenge. And, it made us learn more about our cameras. Give me some time to think up something and I'll post by tomorrow night. Maybe before if I can get my act together.

Thanks, Patty
