Default K5 Dust image

Here is an image shot with my K5 at F22 showing the dust spot. I have tried blowing it with large Rocket Blower dozens of time. Tried the built in dust removal dozens of times. Yet it never ever shows up on my dust alert feature. the image is pure white no matter how much you enlarge it. thought for sure you would see it on the dust alert.

Dust alert works around f12 (if I remember correctly). I know you are going to see this spec in a clean blue sky a f22. So I normally fix this in pp.

My way of cleaning is using a visible dust butterfly, I don't like rocket blowers because they don't work for me. And if going real dirty (like when trying to get a bug out of the camera) when the butterfly doesn't work I use swaps from visible dust.

To be honest, my sensor almost never looks so clean, or maybe after cleaning.

G'day Tony

You might have to bite the bullet & get a sensor-cleaning kit - I got mine from "copperhill" and it works a treat
First time I used it I didn't get it right, second try 5-mins later it was all done
