I the the second shot a lot, the sky is far more dramatic than the original. The ship needs sharpening (carefully to avoid haloing around the edges) and lightening a touch to make it 'pop'.

I don't like the 3rd one so much because the deterioration in the sky is now very obvious and the haloing around the ship's edges is serious.

I prefer the second image. Although, and I know this was out of your control, but that huge rock in front is bugging me. It serves no purpose. Maybe you could go back and move it and take the image again.

Default And a little more

Added a Black & White Layer & Mask to reveal the red colour of the hull & flag, new Layer set to Multiply to darken down the sky using a mask to keep the hull detail & density, then added a coulple of more Layers of the sky set to Multipy to deepen the sky with the attached result.

Amazing what you can do in photoshop & I've just touched the surface of this amazing package.
