Mole, I love this series. Your shots are all great but the gill mushrooms are my favorites and you have done an awesome job of capturing them!

Harriet - So glad you enjoyed these. Will be posting a few more fungus shots soon (as part of some of our recent family hikes). Interesting that you could so easily tell the Pentax from the Tamron lens!

Tony - Thanks! Nice thing about photographing mushrooms - they don't run or fly away! And it's easy to get enough of a photo to help with identification.

Pboerger - Indeed amazing art in the Creation!

Les - Glad you liked the photos. Unfortunately, most of these are inedible, some downright poisonous.

On a recent trip to New York City, went to the Museum of Modern Art. Some of that stuff was downright poisonous too.
