This challenge is kind of artsy. Looking for a shot that gives us the feeling of great depth. The typical one would be railroad tracks or a road disappearing into the distance. Lets see what we can come up with. Because of the nature of the challenge, creative post processing is welcome. If you do use creative post processing and combine images, make sure all the images you use are ones you have taken. Happy shooting. Same rules as always. Last 3 months taken with Pentax or Samsung D-SLRs.

This is actually a difficult subject, but I've got an idea or two. Gotta think about this, and it'll take some experimenting.

Here's a picture I took today, it's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the topic was "Vanishing Point". I'm not so sure it gives a feeling of great depth, but it does give you an idea of great height and comes close to a vanishing point. There really is a bit at the top of the building that slopes out, which didn't help the vanishing point effect. I may shoot another building sometime this month. I also have a couple of very different ideas/locations for this challenge that I hope to shoot this month - this is a fun topic!

Vanishing sapphire.
I got this one while the getting was good. I have an idea for another shot but it depends on other things like the weather. At this time of the year the one thing you can count on is not being able to count on the weather. If I get the chance I will try for it but I can't pull it off here here my enter. DAZ

I imagine there are going to be a few building shots in this competition ! This is mine for now, I have another idea but don't know if I'll have the time to go and get it.

Shot laying on the ground. I deleted the tracks shot. Way over processed. I'm having fun seeing vanishing points all over the place.
