Default Posing Limpkin

This Limpkin decided it was in a posing mode yesterday in Green Cay Wetlands.

I'm with Patty, really like the second one. But all of them are really good, a very nice series.

Very good photos...

I never did know what a Limpkin was...curiosity made me turn in....

The name reminds me of how....over a century ago..... American Entrepreneur P.T. Barnum was able to move crowds out of his zoo at a faster pace...he put up a sign by the exotic bird display...saying ....This Way to The Egress...many customers assumed the Egress was another exotic bird...that is until they found themselves out on the street, with the realization that Egress was a fancy word for Exit...

Very nice shots. I'm partial to #3 and #4 because of the interesting positions of the legs and feet.

If you've got an itch, scratch it. I like #3. All are well done! I have never seen a Limpkin before and enjoy seeing it here.
