I really don't have the budget for it, but I couldn't resist getting some very fine Pentax glass at a discount of 50% or more. I'll have to really scrimp for the next several months until I've paid off the credit card, but it was too good a deal to pass up. They say quantities are limited, so act quickly if you want these!

I was looking at the price of the 16-50 and trying to come up with the funds for it. Oh well, maybe there'll be an after-Christmas sale? Did you get both of them?

Congrats ! I saw there was also almost US$1,000 OFF the price of the 60-250 too (not that I'm trying to tempt you further of course)

I almost never rush into a major investment so I'm more or less in a state of shock, but yes, I did buy both the 16-50 and the 50-135. My head is still spinning!

Congratulations! You should get great use out of those. I have heard from more than one source that changes have been made and the bad, old days of SDM failure are over. Happy Holidays!

P.S. I didn't buy any lenses but I did buckle and buy a K-01 body for $316.
