Fnally made it to Las Vegas-about time-almost 66 yrs old. Not a gambler-just wanted to see the lights and the party.

Yes it does-lights were incredible-all kinds of food-found that the "Strip" was relatively clean & safe. Cops, security, and cameras everywhere. I'm sure if you were looking for trouble you could find it in a different part of town.

Very nice photos! Love the picture of Wynn, that's quite the place. If you aren't far from there and get tired of the casinos, there's a nice restaurant called the Peppermill. It's a separate building, originally must have been a diner, but it's nicer than that now and reasonably priced. It's located just south of the Riviera, on the strip, and has been there many years. I find much of Las Vegas overpowering and prefer the quiet of Red Rock National Monument to the Strip. But if you've never been there, it's a must-see. Have you been to Ethel M's factory yet? I still haven't managed to go there, wanted to at Christmas but didn't manage it.

Nice photos. They capture the pizzazz of the place.

Cool picture of Hoover Dam. My pictures from the bridge were taken on a foggy day, so not as spectacular as yours. I remember driving across the dam when they were building the bridge and thinking there was no way I was going to get on it, the height of it looked frightening. After they opened it and I walked across it, it didn't seem so bad at all. Funny how one's perspective changes.
